Dexter Season 4 Episode 3

Dexter Season 4 Episode 3-Dexter, season 4, episode 3, “Blinded by the Light” is a study in the nightmare of domestic bliss. Lovable Miami serial killer, Dexter Morgan, tries to deal with the scrutiny of being a part of the community. The Trinity killer begins to catch Dexter‘s fancy. Relationships also start to shift, in Dexter, season 4, episode 3.
Suburban Shackles Dexter is out of his element, at a neighborhood barbecue. It is here that wife Rita reveals that she talked to Dexter’s doctor. She is intent on enforcing the doctor’s rule of no driving for ten days, due to Dexter’s concussion. This puts a damper on Dexter’s nighttime activities. Dexter agrees, thinking it will score him points and allow him freedom, when it is time to make another kill. Dexter decides he will be the perfect hubby, at least until he gets his keys back.

Dexter’s neighbors discuss the neighborhood vandal. Dexter chimes in the conversation, not knowing how inconvenient the vandal will be in the near future. The next morning, Dexter wakes up to graffiti on his gate. He takes a moment to talk to his dead adopted father, Harry’s, ghost. Harry reminds him of the time he made Dexter clean up their tp-ed yard. The moral of the story was that Harry did not want anyone to wonder what was different about Dexter, that someone chose to vandalize him. Dexter is more interested in the spray paint can he finds.

This sets the vandal up as a nice side plot, for Dexter, season 4, episode 3. It continues with Dexter coming home, only to be blinded by the light of new motion detecting security lights. Dexter goes inside to find a neighborhood watch meeting taking place. An officer encourages them to be aware of their neighbors’ schedules, to watch and report. None of which are good things for the serial killer next door.Dexter may be under too much friendly surveillance to kill, but the Trinity Killer has his second victim in hand. He drives her to an abandoned building and wants her to jump. He threatens her family to persuade her. wants She asks him to push her, but the killer says it “doesn’t work that way.” She finally jumps to her death. He goes down to look at the body and marks ground with a substance.

The body is called into the precinct. No one wants to take the call, until Dexter mentions that it fits the pattern Agent Lundy is looking for. That causes Detective Debra Morgan, Dexter’s sister, to take the case. Dexter rides along to do the blood work.

Dexter admires the openness of the Trinity Killer. He wonders what his code is, or if he even has one.

Agent Lundy arrives on the scene. Debra apologizes to her ex-lover, for the way she acted the last time they met. I can only hope that Dexter’s writers are not being as heavy handed as they seem. A minor argument between Deb and boyfriend Anton indicates they are trying to revive Lundy and Debra’s relationship. Whether it fits or not.

Dexter, Season 4, Episode 3: Awkward Relationships
This episode of Dexter could win an award for awkward relationship moments. Detective Quinn is still trying to suck up to Dexter, after Dexter saw him take money from a crime scene. Dexter flat out tells him he doesn’t care. Not wanting to seem like a bad guy, Quinn tells Dexter he doesn’t understand, because he isn’t a cop.

Anton shows up at the station to take Deb to lunch, but she is not pleased. They end up eating with Agent Lundy and Dexter. Dexter quickly leaves the awkward meal.

Lieutenants LaGuardia and Batista contrive an excuse to go off for a nooner. Unfortunately for them, what they thought was a dead lead in the Vacation Murder case gets them shot at. They have to make up a story for the review board.

Dexter has run afoul of Aster, Rita’s daughter’s. teenage angst. He manages to apologize and she accepts.

Quinn unloads to his reporter girlfriend about Dexter, the murder cases and Agent Lundy being back in Miami. We can guess this will cause trouble in future episodes of Dexter, season 4.

The Trinity Killer doesn’t seem to have any relationships, except with three photographs. It is then we discover that the substance he left at the crime scene was ashes. These are presumably from at least one of the people pictured. He then pours a drink for one of the photos and tells it that they are next.Dexter, Season 4, Episode 3: Catching a Vandal Dexter is almost caught by the neighborhood watch, in his attempts to catch the pesky vandal. He eventually goes to confront a teenage boy, who he thinks is the culprit, only to discover it is the boy’s dad. Dexter warn the man to stop, buy the guy has no hope and wants to fight. In an eerie similarity with the Trinity Killer, Dexter manages to get the man to agree, by threatening his son. The episode of Dexter ended with Rita watching Dexter bust out the security lights.

Scenes for Dexter, season 4, episode 4, show a possible new love interest for Dexter. This is in the form of a killer cop. Newspaper headlines are shown, indicating Quinn’s girlfriend ran with some off the record comments. The Trinity Killer actually bumps into Agent Lundy, perhaps gaining some lacking human interaction.
